If you’ve driven down the streets of any of Saskatoon’s mature neighbourhoods in the past few months, you have probably noticed that a lot of the city’s older homes are being replaced with new ones.
I drove down 3rd Street East in Saskatoon today, and counted about 2 dozen beautiful new homes lining the streets between Cumberland Avenue and Lorne Avenue. I snapped some pictures of some of the homes – they are big, beautiful, and luxurious.
Most of the new builds are duplexes, or side-by-sides, but some single family homes are also being built in Saskatoon’s older neighbourhoods.
The new homes are helping to revitalize some of the City’s oldest neighbourhoods, and providing the opportunity for buyers to purchase a new home closer to the City Centre.
